I had my 6 month check, the dentist detected a potential issue, took X-ray, we discussed likely outcome and possible timescales and options. He recommended doing nothing for now and we would monitor in 6 months time at next checkup. I was in agreement with this outcome.
There was no pressure to force early treatment and cost, if and when I need to take action in the future I have the time and information to make the right decision that suits me and my finances.
After a lot of trauma due to TMJ jaw joint issues, and a long period of abstinence visiting a dentist – I was drawn to the Abbots Lodge Dental Practice after hearing about the cutting edge technology, and ethos of the whole practice. Principal dentist Peter Saner, Who I saw for consultation last week went above and beyond, honesty, compassion, kindness and a whole lot of empathy, not to mention excellent care. Not only did the whole team go out of there way to make this visit comfortable, safe, and smooth. Peter had read all of my emails with information relating to my TMJ issues beforehand. Giving me as much time as I needed to explain all, making the whole visit a walk in the park! A bonus to be greeted by such warmth from all of the staff. Professionalism of the highest standard.
